You may believe in free speech but does your hosting company?
You are a Conservative with a great idea for a website. You want to share your idea with like-minded conservatives. So, you go online to find the most inexpensive hosting package available. Although you have a great plan, you have limited resources to launch your great idea. And with that hosting purchase, you immediately lose credibility. You have just decided to launch your conservative site on the most liberal website host in the United States. That company stands for everything opposite of what you believe in. Everything your “new idea” is about. And you cannot recover from this since there is no denying their liberal bent.
Your conservative idea is hosted on a server owned and operated by a left-wing, progressive mega-firm
Do you see what I am getting at? You are telling people about your once-in-a-lifetime idea that will enhance the conservative world and it’s hosted on a server owned and operated by a left-wing, progressive mega-firm. It would be like coming up with a solution for the immigration issue on our southern border and hiring Hunter Biden to implement it.
That dog won’t hunt. Your clients may not know who your hosting company is, but you do. And when you have an issue and need to contact a technician for help and you get some “woke” him/her person who HATES your idea, well, good luck with that!
Be true to yourself and the people who will use your site
Do yourself a favor. Be true to yourself and the people who will use your site. Deal with conservatives who understand you and want to help. People who, like you, believe in free speech and are partial to Republicans and Conservatives. You believe in the legal right to express one’s opinions freely but there is no way you can tell if your hosting company feels that way. You believe in what our flag stands for and pledge allegiance to its principles. Do you think that “woke” tech does?
Consider hiring a web hosting company that is not afraid to tell a potential client, “If you don’t like what we stand for, you need to find another web host.” We founded our company because, at the time, we could not find a conservative website host. We had no choice then, but you do.
